Tim has been a pastor in the Presbyterian Church for over 40
years, and lead Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Costa
Mesa for spending 23 years. He grew up in Hollywood and
attended Hollywood Presbyterian Church where he was
ordained after graduating from Fuller Seminary in 1977. His
great interests are photography, baseball, traveling and
learning the game of golf. But his loves at this stage of his life
are his family. He and his wife Ruth will soon celebrate their
49th anniversary and have three children who are all married
and who have given them four grandchildren with a fifth
coming this summer.

Tim serves as the moderator of the Syria-Lebanon Partnership
Network, where he works directly with pastors and churches in
these two countries, encouraging partnerships between
Presbyterian churches in the US and congregations in Syria
and Lebanon. On Sunday, January 20, Pastor Tim will lead a
special seminar following the worship service in the MPR about
what has happened in Syria and Lebanon. More information on
the back.

Pastor Tim is currently working as a transitional pastor in Irvine
assisting to merge Shepherds Grove Church, the former
Crystal Cathedral of Garden Grove, with the Irvine
Presbyterian Church forming a new Presbyterian congregation
in that location.
