Serving Opportunities

"We are all called into the church of Jesus Christ by baptism, and marked as Christ's own by the Holy Spirit. This is our common calling, to be disciples and servants of our servant Lord. Within the community of the church, some are called to particular service as deacons, as elders, and as ministers of the Word and Sacrament. Ordination is Christ's gift to the church, assuring that his ministry continues among us, providing for ministries of caring and compassion in the world, ordering the governance of the church, and preaching the Word and administering the sacraments. Current Opportunities

Village of Hope

Sponsor or donate a gift for a man at the Village of Hope/Orange County Rescue Mission.  We continue our 25+ year tradition of providing Christmas gifts for the men. Your mission committee has already purchased multiple gifts and we invite you to sponsor one for $10. You may donate at church or online.  You may also bring a gift for a man.  Suggestions include: clothing (L or XL) hygiene gifts sets (like Axe, Old Spice, etc), baseball hats or anything you feel would be appropriate.  Although TPC continues to meet the need for men’s Christmas gifts, you may also donate a gift for a woman or child. Please deliver gifts to church by Sunday, 12/5.
